Forage Four: Quartet of a Lost Taste

My work explores how sensory experiences (especially taste) can reconnect us to what has been bred out, forgotten, or overlooked. Through foraging, craft and collaboration I create tools, tastings and narratives to invite new ways of relating to food, the natural world and lost knowledge.

Forage Four: Quartet of a Lost Taste

This quartet game reintroduces bitterness through foraged plants of Europe. Each card presents a plant’s flavor profile, traditional uses, bitter compounds, and the taste receptors it activates. Grouped into families of bitterness, the sets invite players to learn and playfully reconnect with a forgotten taste.
