↗ Social designer, food enthusiast, bitter reclaimer and researcher working at the intersection of food, ecology, and social practices. My work explores how sensory experiences (especially taste) can reconnect us to what has been bred out, forgotten, or overlooked. Through foraging, craft and collaboration I create tools, tastings and narratives to invite new ways of relating to food, the natural world and lost knowledge.

Femme Fix-it: Tools for Equality

2020

The world of tools remains heavily male-dominated, based on its ergonomics, branding and marketing. For many women this can make DIY and repair work feel unwelcoming and uncomfortable. Femme Fix-it set out to challenge that imbalance by creating tools designed with and for women, making space for equal opportunities in both function and aesthetics.

The tool was redesigned with ergonomics tailored to women’s hands. It combines practical efficiency with a softer design language. Rounded shapes and strong lines make the tools approachable, while maintaining durability and professional quality.

Femme Fix-it invites women to pick up the tools themselves, bridging the gender gap in DIY culture and reframes: We can Do-It-Ourselves; we’ve got (em)power tools!
